How To Fix an Overheating Laptop with high CPU usage,Overheating Laptop ...

Hi Guys,
This is Rm Morshed From IT-ITvision. Today I'm here again with a new tutorial on How to diagnose and fix an Overheating laptop.

One of the most common issues with aging laptops is overheating with High CPU use, something many people aren’t sure how to keep the laptop at a lower temperature and Low CPU use.



Guys, I'm showing here a laptop Hp Probook Series. You can follow this process most of the laptop with your own responsibility.

Important NOTE: THIS WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY IF YOUR LAPTOP STILL HAS ONE. ASK YOUR SUPPLIER TO DO THIS FOR YOU IF IT IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY!

Ok Guys, Lets Start How to do,
Shout Down the laptop and wait for completely shout Down.
Now, Removing the Back Cover and Battery
there is no screw on my laptop.

You may be able to get by with just blowing the dust from the vents using a can of compressed air.

Now, The Fan power cable needs to be removed from motherboard before the unit will come out completely. Then
Carefully remove them and place them in the holder. Gently grip the cooling unit and remove it from the laptop.

Note: In my case, the CPU came out with the unit. This is unusual and very rare as the CPU is normally attached firmly to the motherboard.

Okay, Now lose the 4 screws of CPU Heatsink and Remove the heatsink from the main body.

now we need to Dust Out the Unit.
Using your breath, compressed air, hair dryer or fan gently blow out the dust located in the fan, case, exhaust port and anywhere else you see it accumulated.

Then Remove the Old Thermal Grease.
And Apply New Thermal Grease. You local computer shop or hardware store should have this, otherwise "Google is your Friend"

And then Replace the Unit
Connect the Fan Power Cable. Replace the heat exchanger and tighten down all screws to keep it securely in place and Close the Case. Then Replace the battery and make sure it is locked in place

Now Plug everything back into the laptop that needs to be there and turn the unit on. I hope, No more overheating. It's a miracle you have given your laptop a new lease on life!

And also test the air vent, The air vent give up totally normal air, and there is no hot air.

Tips and Additional Resources. The help reduces heat build-up even further you can use a laptop cooling pad. This usually raises the laptop and has fans that force more air in from the bottom.
