How To Connect Two Computer in a Local Area Network Using LAN Cable in Windows10/8.1/7/Xp.


Today i will show you How To Connect Two Computer in a Local Area Network Using LAN Cable in Windows10.

Do you want to share files between two computers only whether it may be at work or at your home? If it is you can connect two computers together using a LAN cable only.

This tutorial will show you how to connect two computer via lan cable and how to transfer data from one computer to another computer. okay so here wee need LAN/PC/Laptop.

Go to “Open network and sharing center”
Click on “Local area connection“
Now click on “Properties“
Double click on “Internet Protocol version 4(TCP/IPv6)“
Click on “Use the following ip address:” and enter ip address: as 192.168.2.11 and just click on Subnet mark once done click on “ok” and close it

Go to “Open network and sharing center”
Click on “Local area connection“
Now click on “Properties“
Double click on “Internet Protocol version 4(TCP/IPv6)“
Click on “Use the following ip address:” and enter ip address: as 192.168.2.12 and just click on Subnet mark once done click on “ok” and close it
Now Both computers are connected. To share files we need to give access to our drives, so follow the command given below to give access to your drives.

Click on “Computer“
Right click on driver and then “properties“
Click on “Sharing” tab and the “Advance Sharing” and then check out Sharing folder
Click on “Permissions” to give control on the other pc and once done click ok and close it.
Click “Security” and then go to - Advance settings - Change permissions -Add - Advance - Find now at bottom click everyone.

Note : If you share data Via Wi-Fi the data transfer will be 1-2 MB and if you share the data Via Lan cable data transfer will be 10-12 MB.
